Hi guys! As some of you know, I’m completely redoing my childhood room and transforming it into a woman-cave that’s more suited to my current taste (it hasn’t been updated since I was 12 lol…). I’m filming the whole process and eventually, I’ll come out with the full video on that! I’m still waiting on some shelves and furniture to be delivered though, so I’m guessing that everything will be complete in another month or so *so excited.*
In the meantime–I wanted to make a post on some of the decor I’ve purchased over my college career and also newer decor that I’ve bought for the remodel! I’m (obviously) pretty girly and I love pink, but I also just love pastels and color in general. So, the theme of my new room is mainly white & pink, but with splashes of color in things like my art wall.
I’d describe my personal interior design style as very feminine, but also really funky and weird (hence, the blog post title). I love unique pieces that make people do a double take. Some of my favorite pieces from above are (1) Pyropet KISA Candle because when you burn it–there’s a METAL SKELETON INSIDE. Which is kind of, sort of, really cool. I also love (9) Piggy Outlet because it’s just super cute and I’ve never seen anything like that before. Also obsessed with (15) the Paper Mache Elephant because it’s really unique and takes up a big chunk of wall space. My parents actually found that piece at Home Goods for a bargain haha!
On a side note: I’ve purchased a ton of new art from some amazing artists that I’ve found on Instagram and Twitter and I’ll do a separate blog post featuring my art wall and all the prints that I’ve accumulated. If you didn’t know, I dabble in art myself, so I like being surrounded by work that inspires me!
Anyways, hope you enjoyed this post and LET ME KNOW what pieces are your favorites! I know my style is very eclectic, but hopefully, you found something you liked!
Thanks for reading!
