I realized that I’m a few posts deep in my blog without a real post about me. If we’re being honest, writing about myself is a little difficult because I’m kind of hard to put into words *flips hair* (don’t take me seriously). But, I guess I can start with the basics!
I’m a proud wife and mommy of six—kidding. Although, doesn’t it seem like every blog is run by some suburban mom who writes her blog posts in an all white marble kitchen. I’m not hating, actually just jealous haha. Meanwhile, I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, which was pretty uneventful. I definitely did not have a crazy childhood full of adventure or late nights. My parents preferred that I stayed home, and I preferred to stay locked in my room (still do).
I’m currently an advertising major at the University of Florida with a concentration in Japanese. Why advertising? Well, because I suck at math and science and I love writing/creating/social media. Advertising encompasses all of those things. Why Japanese? Because it goes without saying that Japan is f*%&ing awesome.
Do I know what I want to do when I graduate? No, not really. I wish I could stunt and say that I’m going to medical school or aiming to become a lawyer, but nope. I either want to work in a digital marketing agency, teach in Japan, or win the lottery. The third option is my personal favorite. Ideally, I’d like to make a six-figure salary by the time I’m 30. I’m hoping that by putting that out in the universe, the law of attraction comes through for ya girl.
My hobbies include online shopping, cooking, watching anime (what did you expect, I’m a Japanese minor), bribing my boyfriend to take pictures of me, and cryi–drawing!
Some things I like include: bread, mozzarella cheese, reptiles, cats, pop culture references, sneakers, memes, anime/comic conventions, dark humor and roasting my friends.
Some things I hate include: people who walk slow, coffee, when someone goes insane every time they see a random dog, mustard, girls who scream over anything, cockroaches and when someone hits a curb while I’m in the car.
Well, I think that’s pretty encompassing! I’m sure I’ll do a FAQ or bio update somewhere down the line. If you enjoy my blog, please subscribe (located on the side of the website, or at the bottom if you’re on mobile)!
Thanks for reading!
